DESCRIPTION:The Stock Market Game program transports students into real wor
 ld investing while learning academic concepts that relate to their entire 
 core curriculum. This competition includes students in grades 4-12. Studen
 ts work in teams practicing leadership\, organization\, negotiation\, and 
 cooperation. As they work to grow their $100\,000 virtual cash account\, t
 rading in real time\, into a top-performing portfolio (which starts earnin
 g interest even before the game begins!)\, they develop strong interests i
 n the daily events that shape our world and reinforce concepts in math\, b
 usiness\, economics\, language arts and social studies that they are learn
 ing in the classroom. Students compete against other teams in their age gr
 oups across Nebraska\, so students love this exciting program!
