Kids, families and people of all ages can explore nature and experience nature-based activities along Prairie Pines trails. Activities involve wildlife, science, engineering, art and exercise that utilize components and features of nature, including a Nature Ninja course. See how vegetables are grown at Community Crops garden and learn about cool reptiles and amphibians with UNL Herptology experts.

Stay for a picnic with food from Rolling Fire Pizza. Coffee and smoothies are available from Kinetic Brew in Virginia’s Garden 9:00 am-1:00 pm.

Prairie Pines foot trails are open to the public from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
