Every year on April 22, more than a billion people celebrate Earth Day to protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation.

By taking part in activities like picking up litter, planting trees, recycling, using a reusable bag, limiting your water usage, turning off the lights and walking instead of driving you’re making our world a happier, healthier place to live.

NIC is modeling sustainable practices by employing the newest and most creative technologies to heat and cool the buildings on campus, constructing buildings that are built to LEED Silver standards that enable the campus to minimize its impact on the environment while maximizing the utility and wellbeing of users and adopting the zero waste concept that incorporates robust recycling and composting.
