Nebraska-Introduction to Customer Discovery (N-ICD) - Session #2

About N-ICD:

Nebraska Introduction to Customer Discovery (N-ICD) is modeled after the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Teams program, in which researchers interview stakeholders to understand their needs — and then use that feedback to guide decisions about a startup company or technology commercialization.

The N-ICD program includes multiple training sessions to learn about concepts such as value proposition and customer segmentation, which helps entrepreneurs narrow their focus and test specific hypotheses. It also includes weekly office hours with staff from NUtech Ventures, Invest Nebraska/The Combine Incubator, the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC), UNL’s Center for Entrepreneurship, and the National Strategic Research Institute (NSRI). Beyond training time, all participants conduct interviews with various stakeholders, gaining valuable feedback to shape their next steps.
