Led by Nebraska Tribal Extension Educator, Ted Hibbeler (Lakota), this training follows the medicine wheel starting in the east with model covers Indigenous world views, colonization and U.S. relations with tribal nations, the Indigenous Assessment Model, and research and Indigenous issues. Faculty who complete this training will have a better understanding on how to engage with tribal communities both in the urban and rural areas. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
The next training will be offered every Friday for four weeks starting February 7th – February 28th, 2025 from 10am - 12pm. This training will be held virtually over Zoom and is limited to 25 participants.
Participants are required to attend ALL dates of training.
