The University of Nebraska Viticulture Program will hold a mid-summer tailgate meeting at Mac’s Creek Winery and Brewery near Lexington, Nebraska, on Tuesday, July 23. The educational focus will be on mid-summer vineyard tasks, planning for harvest (including harvest estimation), disease prevention and a discussion of new cultivars that have been recently introduced. Registration and introductions will begin at 4:00 p.m., with the program to follow. After visiting the vineyards, there will be an opportunity to tour the winery and brewing operations and to purchase food and beverages.
