The 2024 private pesticide applicator training dates, times, and locations have been set, with sessions beginning in early January and continuing through March at sites throughout the Nebraska Panhandle and Sandhills.
Notification letters will be sent out by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture to applicators whose license will expire in 2024. The cost of the training is $60, payable the day of the training. Also, you will need to provide proof of identification at the training site, such as a driver’s license.

For the in-person private applicator training, pre-registration is required for each applicator for all training dates and locations, whether getting their applicator’s license for the first time or re-certifying. Seating space may be limited and once filled, no more registrations will be accepted, and the applicator will have to choose another date and location. Those that do not pre-register may be turned away due to lack of space.
