A free presentation to help attendees understand the different ways they can engage with the Nebraska Legislature and develop skills that may be applied to other state legislatures.
Topics to be discussed are:
• when is the legislative session
• different parts of the legislative process
• finding relevant bills
• understanding the various ways to submit comment.
Once the event has concluded, presenters will stay to answer questions and speak with attendees.
Open to all UNL students, staff, and faculty. Lunch provided with RSVP: https://gsc.unl.edu/engaging-legislature-rsvp.
