Join us on Wednesday, December 4th from 12:00 - 1:00PM in the Diversity and Inclusion Gathering Space (DIGS) of the College of Business to learn all about intersectionality from the College of Business’ very own Caitlin Smith.

Caitlin Smith (Learner, Input, Futuristic, Empathy, & Discipline) is an academic advisor in the College of Business Advising and Student Engagement (BASE) office. She has a passion for guiding students; working with them to build their own pathway towards academic success while focusing on the whole student experience.

Her work has been founded in diversity, equity and inclusion with her experience in previous roles on the Presidential Committee for Equity and Inclusion for Doane University, committee member for the Polk Lectureship Series (Doane), and most recent work on the Dean’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Midland University in 2009 and master’s degree in higher education administration (student affairs concentration) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014.

This event is free and open to all UNL students, staff, and faculty members. RSVP is required and limited to thirty (30) individuals. Lunch is provided at no cost. Please RSVP using the link below.
