IANR faculty, staff, and students:
The Pesticide Education Office will be hosting a certification testing session on April 2 from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM in Keim Hall room 150. This is an opportunity to become certified for a commercial or noncommercial pesticide applicator license by taking and passing state-administered certification exams. If you have never held a license, or your license has expired, this session is for you.
You will need to take at least two exams to become certified. Please arrive no later than noon to ensure you have enough time to complete your exams. All applicators must pass the General Standards exam (category 00). The other categories you are most likely to need are Agricultural Pest Control-Plant (category 01) and Demonstration/Research (category D/R). However, all category exams will be available.
We strongly encourage you to study before attempting your exams. Category-specific study materials are available.
If you have any questions, please stop by our office or call us at 402-472-1632.
