The Institutional Review Board (IRB) will transition its research administration module from NUgrant to NuRamp effective August 12th.
While NuRamp is used by all campuses in the University of Nebraska system, only the UNL and UNK IRBs and their faculty, staff, and students will be utilizing the NuRamp IRB module.
Users will log into NuRamp using their True You credentials. Interfaces will function similarly to current NUgrant interfaces, with an updated look to enhance the user experience. The IRB application submission process remains very similar but does incorporate many updated application features. Users are strongly encouraged to attend training sessions or view the recorded training sessions to understand the updates.
Training sessions will be held: July 29th & 30th, August 5th & 6th and September 16th & 17th & 25th & 26th (times available via registration below).
All training sessions will be held via zoom and they will be recorded and made available following the trainings. Registration is required for those attending to obtain the Zoom meeting link: https://research.unl.edu/events/event_nuramp.php?EMSEventUUID=0d159a82-9dd0-4f71-b852-6eb97f577315
Research personnel should be aware that all existing IRB application forms will be moved to NuRamp, including those in routing status.
Many UNL faculty, staff, and students are already using NuRamp as implementation is taking place in a phased approach. The IRB module is the final module to transition.
