THIS WEEK’s ACTIVITY:
Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a traditional holiday in Mexico and Latin America. Families honor deceased friends and loved ones with music, feasts, and celebrations.

To learn more about this beautiful holiday, the International Quilt Museum is hosting a special event with three read-alouds of the book “Day of the Dead: A Celebration of Life” by Polo Orozco.

Additionally, there will be an art project for guests and families to decorate sugar skulls with paper, tissue paper, sequins and markers.
