University of Nebraska Lincoln’s Forsythe Family Program on Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs (HRHA), along with other UNL partners will host a week of MMIW human rights activities inviting UNL faculty, students and community to participate.
The Program:
Nov 1 Friday 7.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. - Sarah Deer Talk at the Union Auditorium
Nov 5 at the Gaughan Multicultural Center: “Dish it Up” sponsored by Unite RSO
Nov 5 – Nov 7 The International Quilt Center will have a mini Native Quilt show in their main hall, and on Thursday Nov 7 from 3 to 5 p.m. we will have a time of storytelling and discussion.
Nov 7: noon - Panel of Native Lawyers at Law College to discuss MMIW and possible legal interventions.
