Great Plains Master Beekeeping welcomes Dr. Tamra Reall to this month’s Hap-Bee Hour Friday, September 13, 2024 to discuss Native Bees.

???? Dr. Tamra Reall is an engaging entomologist and horticulturist with a passion for connecting people with the fascinating world of insects and plants. She brings her expertise to the University of Missouri Extension, where she coordinates a dedicated team of nearly 500 volunteers, including Master Naturalists, Extension Master Gardeners, and AmeriCorps Seniors. Through this role, Dr. Reall fosters a vibrant community around gardening and entomology.
Combining her lab and field experience, Dr. Reall possesses a deep understanding of how insects, plants, and fungi interact in their natural environments. She has a strong research background and enjoys sharing her knowledge through public speaking, educational programs, and even her own YouTube channel and social media platforms (@MUExtensionBugNGarden).
Her Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Missouri-Columbia equipped her with a strong foundation in the life sciences. We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Reall as she delves into the world of native bees!
