As you may know, the School of Natural Resources is a department within the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and also a department within the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR). SNR TAs for 2013-14 have been invited to attend the CAS TA Training. Snacks will be available, lunch is on your own.

2:30 – 3:30 pm Blackboard Training – Heath Tuttle (Will familiarizing TAs with how Bb will look to them as an instructor, cover anything new, and provide some tips and hints)
3:45 – 4:45 pm IACUC General Animal Training for UNL Staff & Students Handling Animals – Kathy Pinkerton

Please note: IIPP & Emergency Preparedness training is REQUIRED if you receive a paycheck from UNL and have not taken the courses since March 2011, UNL Safety & Chemical Safety Training is REQUIRED if you are working with students in a lab and have not taken all 4 modules since July 2012. If you have already received training or it is not applicable to you (e.g., IACUC) you can skip that session. However, it can also be a good refresher for you on proper safety practices and procedures.
