A live screening of “Jane,” a film about Jane Goodall and her early years conducting chimpanzee research. The event is free and open to the public.

The film draws on over 100 hours of never-before-seen footage that has been tucked away in the National Geographic archives for more than 50 years. Award-winning director Brett Morgen tells the story of JANE, a woman whose chimpanzee research in Gombe, now a national park in Tanzania, challenged the male-dominated scientific consensus of her time and revolutionized our understanding of the natural world.

Free parking is offered in all Hardin Hall spaces except meters and reserved facilities spaces. Snacks will be available for purchase and will benefit SNR student organizations. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
