Join us as we investigate ways to use literature books to engage students in meaningful interdisciplinary lessons. We’ll start by discovering amazing insect and pollinator-focused literature books. Next, we’ll connect these literature books with simple lesson plans.

Who Should Attend?
This workshop is for early childhood educators including in-home day care providers, day care centers, preschool and elementary teachers and nature center staff.

Workshop participants will receive:
• Multiple insect and pollinator-related science lessons
• Numerous insect and pollinator-related literature books
• Knowledge and skills to engage children in quality STEM learning
• 2.5 hours of continuing education credit through the NDE Office of
Early Childhood Education
