Good refresher for experienced tree care professionals and good introduction for beginners.
Topics include:
• Basics of winter botany – identifying dormant hardwoods
• Pruning young shade trees for structure and stability
• Coffee break conversations about managing deer in our landscapes
• Preparing soil in beds (not just digging holes!) for tree planting
