September is “Food Action Month”. The Food Bank of Lincoln and the Center for Civic Engagement is asking Lincoln residents, including UNL students to join together, to collect food and funds, to raise awareness and to alleviate hunger. During the month of September, UNL students can collect food and/or money to alleviate hunger in Lincoln. Food and monies are then delivered to the Nebraska East Campus Mall on October 1st from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
