A new exhibition, “China Past and Present” will be on display in the Adele Hall Learning Commons’ Quiet Reading Room on Nov. 13.
The display will include works that reflect the diversity of literature from and about China past and present. The information presented is designed to foster a better understanding of China, a nation that represents a fifth of humanity.
Items on display will range from modern Chinese science fiction, high literature and ancient poetry, to works of history, philosophy and contemporary social issues.
The exhibition was curated by faculty and staff at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with support from the Confucius Institute.
