If you’re seeking a real adventure, you won’t find a better alternative this Spring Break. Spend multiple days on the river, no resupplies or stops at restaurants in between the put in and the take out. Paddle in the tight canyons forged by iconic watersheds of the remote desert and explore side canyons or remains of villages long past. Find something worth telling stories about when you return from the break.
Given the remoteness and challenging rapids of this trip participants must be in good physical condition and have a positive state mind. We will explore the canyons carved by water that began as snow along the continental divide in central Colorado and the mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico. The Rio Grande river is rich with history and home to a stretch of truly wild river.
Registration closes: 3/9/2020 @ 2 p.m.
UNL Students and CRec Members: $495
General Public: $575
(reserve your spot with a deposit of 30% registration fee)
