There is no better way to experience a region than by biking through it at 13 miles an hour. Learn the skills of bike touring and open the door to a ton of adventures big and small—accessible right outside your door. Explore places where people escaping slavery traveled as they headed North on the Underground Railroad Trail.
We will be biking through a short portion of the overall route in Mississippi and Tennessee, put together by the American Cycling Association. You will be able to gain a deeper understanding of history and enjoy scenic areas. The trip will be a mixture of cycling and visiting historical sites like the Tennessee River Museum and the Black History Museum in Corinth, MS.
Registration closes: 3/10/2020 @ 2 p.m.
UNL Students and CRec Members: $495
General Public: $575
(reserve your spot with a deposit of 30% registration fee)
