No previous experience is required for this beginner-level session desiged to show you the way that SIT delivers high-quality language education around the world. Native to the Andes mountain region of South America, Quechua is the most widely-spoken indigenous language in the Americas with more than 13 million speakers across Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, northern Argentina, and southern Colombia as well as several Quechua-speaking immigrant communities in the United States. Students of Quechua learn not only a practical communication skill but also gain insight into the unique native Andean world view.
