Dr. Katelyn Knox will discuss the treatment of transnational marinescapes and riverine spaces in the works of postcolonial francophone African writers. Dr. Knox is Assistant Professor of French at the University of Central Arkansas. She specializes in new/transmedia narratives, ultra contemporary Afropean literature and music, and transmediality. This talk is great for those interested in environmental history, environmental writing, and French and francophone literature, history, and culture.
