DESCRIPTION:On February 5\, Katie Cameron will present on using technology 
 and partnerships to manage water resources.\n\nThe Nebraska Water Center (
 NWC)\, in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s School o
 f Natural Resources\, will begin its annual Spring Water Seminar Series in
  January. The 2025 series will consider innovations driving safe and secur
 e water in Nebraska and beyond. The Series is open to the public and will 
 be held at Hardin Hall on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus.\
 n\nIn addition\, the series – with writing assignments and in-class\, st
 udent-led discussions on alternate weeks – doubles as a one-credit hour 
 undergraduate/graduate course listed under NRES/AGRO/GEOG/GEOL 484/884 and
  WATS 484. Students interested in registering should be junior level or ab
 ove. \n\nEstablished in 1968\, the series provides a forum to increase awa
 reness and allow for meaningful conversation regarding these issues. The s
 eries is a cornerstone of NWC’s mission to help the University of Nebras
 ka become an international leader in water research\, teaching\, extension
 \, and outreach. \n\nThe 2025 seminars dates are January 29\, February 5\,
  February 19\, March 12\, April 2\, April 16\, and April 23.
