The Bazile Groundwater Management Area (BGMA) will be hosting a three-part series of virtual 1-hour webinars via Zoom, over the lunch hour. Each week, the webinar will have a unique focus and will include short updates on progress and changes on one of the three BGMA demonstration sites funded through a NET grant.
– February 19: Dr. Rattan Lal, speaking on soil quality management.
– February 26: Dr. Salvador Ramirez II speaking on the biological and chemical properties of the soil in a diversified crop rotation.
– March 5: Dr. Troy Gilmore speaking about his recent groundwater hydrology work on nitrate in the Bazile Creek.
