Laser light shows are back for one weekend only at Mueller Planetarium at the University of Nebraska State Museum in Morrill Hall. However, these are not the laser shows audiences have seen in the past. On Oct. 19, 20, and 21, the Planetarium will present music-themed shows performed by Lightwave International using state-of-the-art laser projectors. This is a one-time only chance for audiences to experience the latest in laser display technology.

LaserFest schedule:
* Friday, Oct. 19 – 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., Laser Beatles; 9:30 and 11 p.m., Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon Laser Spectacular.
* Saturday, Oct. 20 – 3:30 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m., Laser Beatles; 9:30 and 11 p.m., Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon Laser Spectacular.
* Sunday, Oct. 21 – 3:30 p.m., Laser Country (various artists); 7 p.m., Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon Laser Spectacular.

The regular fulldome astronomy show (non-laser), “A Starry Tale,” will also be presented this weekend:
* Saturday, Oct. 20 – 2 p.m., A Starry Tale
* Sunday, Oct. 21 – 2 p.m., A Starry Tale

Matinee show tickets (include museum exhibits): $10 for adults, $7 for children 18 and under, and $4 for Friends of the Museum and UNL staff, faculty and students with valid NU ID.

Evening show tickets (museum exhibits closed): $8 for all ages, $7 for Friends of the Museum. There is no discount for UNL staff, faculty and students during the evening shows. Evening shows, which begin at 7 p.m., are not recommended for children under age 5. Tickets sold on the day of the show only. No advance purchases. Each show seats 80 patrons.
