The UNL Student Observatory will be open every first Friday throughout the Fall 2012 semester. It’s open to the public — come by yourself or bring your kids, relatives, friends, or date! Whether you want to casually stop by for 5 minutes or spend an hour observing, the presenter (a physics & astronomy undergraduate student) will show prominent objects in the night sky such as current planets and constellations through our 16-inch telescopes.
