On Sept. 23 from noon-5 p.m., the Agricultural Research and Development Center near Mead will celebrate 50 years of research and education through exhibits, presentations, bus tours, food, fun and learning.
Scott Anderson, trombone, Craig Fuller, tuba, and Alan Mattingly, horn, will perform in a faculty recital on Sept. 23 at 3 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall. They will be joined by faculty artist, Christopher Marks, organ.
The repertoire will include Celebration for Horn and Organ and Meditation for Horn and Organ both by Randall Faust; Duo Concertante for Trombone and Organ (1894) by Gustav Holst; Celestial Keys (2004) by Gweneth Walker; 4 Stucke by Paul Hindemith; and Triangles for Horn, Trombone and Tuba (1985) by John Stevens.
