Calling all MAA members and anyone with interest in aronia, there are just 4 weeks until the 2014 MAA annual conference convenes in Omaha, Nebraska. This year’s theme is “We can grow aronia. Can we grow an industry?” The 3-day event will include sessions on marketing, processing, and working together to build a strong industry; as well as informative sessions on optimal growing; and opportunities to establish networks with those that are like-minded about aronia. The annual meeting will be held on Friday, February 28th at 1 pm. Please be sure to attend, as member votes help shape the direction of the path that we take as we forge into the future of establishing a domestic market for aronia and help lay the foundation for growers to succeed in their business model with aronia as a value-added crop.
