Nebraska horse lovers & NHC have a reason to celebrate in 2014. After a successful 2013 comeback, the Nebraska Horse Expo will be “Standing Proud” & bringing a host of international caliber horsemen & women, top-notch entertainment & trade show, hands-on activities & competitions for youth & adults along with over 250 majestic equines to the Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln this November 14, 15, and 16.

Featuring artwork by Lincoln resident Lynne Reineke
Appropriately enough, the artwork by Lincoln resident Lynne Reineke that was selected to represent Expo 2014 is titled “Standing Proud” and depicts a bay horse proudly gazing down at the outline of the state of Nebraska it is standing upon.

“I am honored to have my painting promote the Nebraska Horse Expo 2014,” said Reineke, a self-taught artist. “Standing Proud is my representation of the strong, proud horse community we have in Nebraska. I was blessed with the opportunity to grow up riding horses and spent every weekend until my college years at a 4-H or open horse show. I have a strong love and respect for horses and I’m excited to have the opportunity to promote them.”

By having her work selected to represent Expo 2014, Reineke will receive a package of all items produced with the winning design, two 3-day passes to the Expo, and a vendor booth during the show. For more information about Reineke visit www.NebraskaHorseExpo.org (under the About/Official Artwork tab).
