“Collaborating with Machines” was a special topic course offered by UNL’s Department of Art & Art History during the 3 week summer pre-session. During the course, Assoc. Prof. Santiago Cal and co-instructor Lexi Bass taught art students how to work with the department’s recently installed plasma cutter, laser cutters, CNC lathe, and 3D printers. Art created in the class is on display in the MEDICI Gallery through June 10. Work can also be seen in the display cases on the south side of Richards Hall first floor.
The MEDICI Gallery is a student run gallery located on the first floor of Richards Hall. The gallery is open M-F, 8:00 - 5:00.
