The student assembly presentation will provide an overview of the complex and integrated operations of the Missile Defense Agency, highlighting the agency’s unique mission and technological advancements. It reviews the challenges and efforts occurring daily in the development of the Ballistic Missile Defense System, and an overview of the various functions, skills, and abilities required to execute the tasks. Particularly, it will provide a brief synopsis of the Career Development Program, a highly selective, government civilian entry level educational and training program, suitable for most of the campus academic disciplines, as a wonderful way to contribute to the technological advances of our nation and Department of Defense.
