The University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business Administration Undergraduate Women in Business student organization is hosting the inaugural Collegiate Women in Business conference with the theme connections and featuring a keynote address and three breakout sessions. The conference is open to women who are students, young professionals and members of the business community.

Diane Mendenhall, associate athletic director for development and ticket operations at the University of Nebraska Athletic Department, will give the keynote address about nurturing and maintaining connections as a resource and support system. The breakout sessions will include ways to help young women thrive in the workplace. Dr. Donde Plowman, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean of the College of Business Administration, will lead one of the breakout sessions on negotiation based on her nationally ranked research.

The Undergraduate Women in Business organization is open to all undergraduate students at UNL and strives to elevate student potential, service and life. The club actively partners with women’s groups on campus and in the community, many of whom will be participating in this conference.
