Garlic shrimp with broccoli is a flavorful and quick dish for a busy weekday supper. The shrimp get a good crunchy sear on the outside with aromas of garlic, ginger and green onion, while the inside is still tender. With broccoli and steamed rice on the side, this one-course meal is healthy and satisfying.
On our August class menu, we will re-run the well-received appetizer Crab Rangoon, which has been requested by many participants of previous classes. The combination of crab meat (or imitation crab meat) and cream cheese pleases our taste buds. In addition, the crispy wrapper makes it a perfect appetizer. We will show you how to make Crab Rangoon in triangular and flower shapes.
In the Monday, August 25 class, we will make garlic shrimp and crab rangoon with you following our step-by-step recipes, instructions, demonstrations and getting hands-on experience. You will have the opportunity to taste the food cooked in class. Instructors from Confucius Institute will teach the class. Please contact Angela Rystrom to register.
Due to the capacity, class size is limited to 20 people. In order to properly purchase the ingredients for the class, please register and pay in advance.
