Our third Navigating Difference (ND) Multicultural and Diversity Training is scheduled for April 6-7, 2017 in Lincoln. We encourage you to register as soon as possible for this training. Shortly after the April registration is full, you will receive more information about ND and the IDI instrument and coaching.

Navigating Difference is a training designed to increase cultural competence in five areas identified as essential for Extension professionals, namely cultural awareness, cultural understanding, cultural interaction and cultural sensitivity. Three additional modules tackles issue of cultural knowledge, privilege/power, and communications. In addition, workshop attendees will compete the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI®). This instrument is a cross-cultural assessment of your personal level of intercultural competence.
