Crane will give a lecture in Sheldon’s Ethel S. Abbott Auditorium titled Barbara Crane: Challenging Vision, which is also the title of her forthcoming retrospective exhibition and book. For the past 50 years, Crane has worked as a photographer, creating highly formal, often abstracted images of people and the urban landscape. Her lecture is free and open to the public and begins at 5:30 p.m.
