The University of Nebraska Brass Quintet will give a recital on Monday, Mar 4 at 7:30 pm in Kimball Recital Hall.
The University of Nebraska Brass Quintet is comprised of faculty from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln including Scott Anderson, trombone, Alan Mattingly, horn, Darryl White, trumpet, K. Craig Bircher, trumpet and Craig Fuller, tuba. Two members of the group are full-time performers in the Omaha Symphony and each member has played with orchestras, in jazz combos, in brass and woodwind quintets and other ensembles throughout the United States and Europe. As a component of the chamber music program at the University of Nebraska, the quintet is dedicated to the performance of original repertoire works and new music for brass quintet.
Tickets: General admission $5, student/senior $3, available at the door approx. one hour before the performance.
