Flute Festival Day will take place on Saturday, Mar 9 in Kimball Recital Hall. Flute Festival Day will conclude with the Flute Festival Day Concert at 7:30 pm in Kimball Recital Hall. The concert is FREE and open to the public.
Flute Day is here again! This year we have a special guest, Eva Amsler, Professor of Flute at the Florida State University. She will be giving an afternoon masterclass with UNL flutists performing. High school and college flutists from other schools will perform for Dr. Bailey in the morning masterclasses. Requests to play in the masterclasses will be honored as received, with preference given to 11th and 12th graders and visiting college flutists. Younger flutists will be selected as space permits. Those selected to play in the masterclasses will be contacted.
