During October, an exhibition at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Eisentrager-Howard Gallery will feature the work of the Department of Art and Art History’s Master of Fine Arts students.

“UNL MFA Program” opens Friday, Oct. 10 and continues through Oct. 23 in the Eisentrager-Howard, which is located on the first floor of Richards Hall at Stadium Drive and T sts. on the UNL city campus. Admission is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, Oct. 10 from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.

In October, the Department of Art and Art History will be reviewed for reaccreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).

“This accreditation ensures that we meet the same high standards as the most prestigious private art schools in the country,” said Peter Pinnell, chair of the Department of Art and Art History. “During the NASAD visit, we will feature the work of our graduate students in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery. Our graduate program is nationally ranked, and we are very proud of the quality of work that our students produce. We feel that the best way we can demonstrate the quality of our program is to show the work of our students.”
