The UNL Percussion ensemble will present an exciting and eclectic program of chamber works composed within the last 10 years. Some highlights include Dan Trueman’s futuristic laptop and percussion quartet neither Anvil nor Pulley; The Drums of Winter by Pulitzer Prize winner John Luther Adams; a hi-hat quartet from Julia Wolfe’s Dark Full Ride; and UNL Faculty Artist Dave Hall will join the Graduate Percussion Quartet in a performance of Alejandro Viñao’s Estudios de Frontera.
