The Alpha Gamma Rho and Sigma Alpha Joint greek life Hog Roast will be from 5pm-8pm in the AGR parking lot. Tickets are $7 prior and $9 at the door. All money raised goes to the Blue Jacket Scholarship for FFA members to receive their own jacket. The hog roast or meal will be pork sandwiches, beans, salads, cookies and a drink-water, lemonade, tea, etc. The meal is all made and donated by AGR alumni, who have done it as long as the event has been happening. We plan to have a live band play music on a flatbed trailer. There will also be a petting zoo or barnyard of animals to showcase all the different aspects of FFA. There will be a pen of baby pigs supplied by sigma alpha, a few baby calves supplied by AGR, goats supplied by Sigma Alpha, and an AGR’s horse from the rodeo team. Each will be in their own pins and enclosures monitored by their respective owners who are all very well versed in dealing with their animals.
