A fruit tree production workshop is scheduled for Saturday April 5 at the Hruska Library in David City. The workshop, sponsored by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Butler County Extension, will cover fruit tree varieties suitable for the area, pruning, care, nutrition and other aspects of production. Vaughn Hammond, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Educator for fruits will be the presenter.
