Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard will be hosting a welcoming reception for Rex Nelson, Nebraska Extension Educator at the Kimmel Education and Research Center on April 28th from 4-6pm at the Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard Apple Barn.
Refreshments will be served.
Rex Nelson has started his role as Community Vitality Initiative Extension Educator with Nebraska Extension at the Kimmel Education and Research Center. Rex farmed for many years in southwest Nebraska and most recently served as the Economic Development Director for the community of McCook. His responsibilities will focus on regional food system business start-ups, expansions and entrepreneurship, as well as leveraging the Kimmel Orchard as a learning laboratory.
