Dan Roberts, retired FBI, will be giving a presentation on the role of the police. Specifically, he will discuss the FBI Uniform Crime Report statistics involving violent crime (highlighting police shootings),police/community relations, perceptions of a rush to judgment against the officer involved in the Ferguson matter, military equipment and its application for law enforcement, police use of body cameras, and other related topics that all were highlighted during the Ferguson case.
