This event covers issues related to guardianship that Disability Rights Nebraska has long dealt with. The management team from Disability Rights Nebraska believes that reaching more people about guardianship issues is vitally important. This presentation will be given by Michael J. Elsken, the Staff Attorney for Disability Rights Nebraska. The presentation will most likely cover limited guardianship v. full (plenary) guardianship, the difference between “capacity” and “poor decision making”, alternative to guardianship, and looking into the future of guardianship.
