All First-year students are expected to attend the CDO Kick-Off lunch on Friday, October 21 at noon. Lunch will be provided. We will order for the entire class so if you are not able to attend, please notify our office at lawcareer@unl.edu
We will go over what you can expect for the rest of the year as well as all the resources that are at your disposal. These include a number of password protected websites like the Government Honors site and handouts on a variety of topics including the long-distance job search. We will share tips on how to get the most out of all the upcoming 1L Employer Receptions and Employer in Residence lunches. If you have specific questions you want answered, please don’t wait to submit them. You can e-mail them in advance to lawcareer@unl.edu. We will also leave some time for questions that come up during the lunch, but by submitting questions in advance we will be able to incorporate them into the presentation.
