Popular Culture & Science come together in Sci Pop Talks! at STEM Expo

Did a giant asteroid kill the dinosaurs? What is the origin of Superman and the Planet Krypton? Is chemistry the key to surviving the Zombie Apocalypse? Find out the answers to these questions and more during fun presentations that bring science and popular culture together in Sci Pop Talks! A total of eight different talks will be given by science faculty from UNL and Doane College in conjunction with the STEM Expo. Other presentations cover nanotechnology, forensic science, Harry Potter, nanoscale science, and fire and explosions in movies.
