Saturday morning will start with masterclasses and continue with two sessions for oboe and bassoon on audition preparation and instrument maintenance. A boxed lunch will be provided for everyone who registers. After lunch, the afternoon activities will begin with masterclasses featuring high school oboe and bassoon students, followed by a recital featuring the UNL college students and concluding with a Double Reed Ensemble reading session in which everyone is welcome to play - bring your instrument and a good reed!!
All Double Reed Day events will take place in Westbrook Music Building on the city campus of UNL. Registration fee is $10 and includes registration costs and a boxed lunch available at 12 noon on Saturday.
The events are open to all registered participants — students, teachers and parents.
