The Nebraska Council on Economic Education is proud to welcome Pilar Mena from Bank of America to help introduce teachers to a brand new complimentary tool from Bank of America, The Financial Literacy Simulation. During this Zoom session teachers will be given an overview and walkthrough of this gamified budget simulation and will get access to the simulation to use in their classrooms! One Nebraska Teacher in attendance will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card. More information from Bank of America below. Attendees will also get an update from Associate Director for the Nebraska Council Matt Pierson who will also be moderating the event.

The Financial Literacy Simulation is a gamified tool that Bank of America is making available at no cost to schools, non-profits, and organizations that want to empower their community by building and strengthening their financial literacy acumen.

Online simulated experience challenges individuals to learn how to manage real-life financial scenarios, such as how to:

• Save for the future
• Budget for regular and unexpected expenses
• Build their credit score
• Unlock the skill of purposeful decision making
• Maintain a good quality of life
